Biorevitalization

Not for lines and not for volume, but for the skin itself: hydration, density and tone. The result shows across a course rather than after one appointment.

from €200 Duration: 90 min

What it is and when it is needed

Hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin — a substance that binds water and holds moisture there. Unlike a filler it does not build volume; it works on the condition of the skin.

There are many products and they differ in composition and density. Which one to use is the doctor’s decision based on your skin, not a choice made from a brand list — which is why this page does not offer one.

  • A course is needed: usually several sessions 2–4 weeks apart.
  • Often combined with other treatments — the doctor draws up the plan.
  • The effect is temporary, so the result is maintained once or twice a year.

Who it is for

This is for skin quality, not for deep lines or a face that has lost volume. If the issue is contour or expression lines, we will suggest another method at the consultation — and often a combination.

  • Dry, dehydrated, dull skin.
  • Reduced density and elasticity.
  • Fine superficial lines, particularly under the eyes.
  • Skin after a summer, or after significant weight loss.
  • Complexion affected by smoking or fatigue.

How it goes

  1. Consultation

The doctor assesses the skin and chooses the product and the number of sessions.

  2. Anaesthetic 15–20 min

Anaesthetic cream is used, which matters particularly in more sensitive areas.

  3. Injections 20–30 min

The product is placed with superficial injections across the area.

  4. The course

The next session is planned for 2–4 weeks later; the doctor sets the interval.

Results

Straight afterwards you can see the injection points — small raised papules that settle within a few hours or a day.

The change in the skin accumulates across the course rather than appearing after the first session. The effect is temporary: the hyaluronic acid breaks down, so the result is held by repeating.

Aftercare

The skin is more sensitive for a day, and the injection points are still closing.

  • No make-up for a day.
  • Avoid saunas, pools, sunbeds and hard exercise for two days.
  • No scrubs or acids for a few days.
  • Use SPF — the skin is more sensitive to UV afterwards.
  • Drink enough water: the treatment works on the skin’s hydration.

Contraindications

Some of these are temporary. The doctor decides at the consultation.

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • Inflammation, infection, cold sores or broken skin in the area.
  • Allergy to hyaluronic acid or to the product’s components.
  • Autoimmune disease and clotting disorders — assessed individually.
  • Acute illness or fever — the appointment is postponed.
  • A recent peel or laser treatment — an interval is needed.

Common questions

How is this different from fillers?

A filler builds volume and contour; biorevitalization works on skin quality. Different jobs — sometimes combined.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually a course rather than a single session. The doctor will give you the number after assessing your skin.

Will the injection points show?

Small raised points are visible immediately and settle within a few hours or a day. Small bruises are possible.

When is the best time?

The darker months, or at least without a fresh tan — the skin is more sensitive to UV afterwards.

What if I stop?

The effect is temporary: the skin gradually returns to how it was. It does not end up worse than before.
