Body wraps and rituals

An hour of body care: a gentle scrub, an active preparation and a wrap, after which the skin is smooth and hydrated and the legs feel lighter.

from €80 Duration: 90 min

What it is and when it is needed

An active product is applied to the skin and the body is wrapped, so the ingredients work for longer and more intensively. The treatment is combined with hydrating and toning stages.

The effect is mostly about the condition of the skin and how you feel: smoother, hydrated skin and less heaviness in the legs. This is care, not treatment, and not a body-shaping method.

  • The result is gentle and temporary; most noticeable right after a course.
  • Often chosen as part of a course alongside other body treatments.
  • This is not weight loss and not a treatment for cellulite.

Who it is for

This suits skin care and rest. If the goal is changing body shape, we will say plainly at the consultation that these treatments do not do that.

  • Dry, rough skin on the body.
  • Heaviness and swelling in the legs.
  • Skin care before a holiday or an event.
  • Wanting to relax with no needles and no devices.
  • Maintaining body skin between other treatments.

How it goes

  1. Preparation

The skin is cleansed, sometimes with a gentle exfoliation.

  2. Application

The chosen active product is applied to the body.

  3. The wrap 30–40 min

The body is wrapped; this is the part where you simply rest.

  4. Finishing

The product is removed and the skin is moisturised.

Results

Straight afterwards the skin is smoother and hydrated and the heaviness eases. That is largely a care effect, and it is temporary.

A more noticeable result comes from a course rather than single sessions.

Aftercare

No special care is needed — the simple things are enough.

  • Drink enough water afterwards.
  • Avoid very hot baths and saunas for a day.
  • Moisturise at home — the result lasts longer that way.
  • If you are planning hair removal, do it before the treatment rather than after.
  • Avoid sunbeds and direct sun for a few hours.

Contraindications

Some of these are temporary. The specialist decides before the treatment.

  • Pregnancy — most wraps are not used.
  • Broken skin, wounds, burns or acute inflammation in the area.
  • Allergy to the components of the product.
  • Varicose veins and venous thrombosis — assessed individually.
  • Serious cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes.
  • Fever or acute illness — the appointment is postponed.

Common questions

Will I lose weight or centimetres?

No. This is a care treatment working on skin condition and wellbeing. Other methods address shape.

Does it help with cellulite?

The skin can look smoother, but that is a temporary care effect rather than a treatment for cellulite.

How many sessions will I need?

A more noticeable result comes from a course. The specialist will suggest a number.

Is it safe during pregnancy?

Most wraps are not used during pregnancy. Tell us beforehand.

Do I need to prepare?

Not really. If you are planning hair removal, do it before rather than after.
