Needle-free treatments

If what puts you off is the needle, there are methods that work through the surface of the skin. They are gentler, so the result is smaller: this is maintenance, not a substitute for injections.

from €100 Duration: 75 min

What it is and when it is needed

The active ingredient enters through the surface of the skin rather than by injection. Some methods use specially formulated acid combinations, others introduce the product with a device.

Compared with injections the material stays shallow, so the method works on the surface layers. That makes it suitable for skin quality but no replacement for treatments that act deeper.

  • No needles and no injections.
  • Practically no downtime — you can usually go straight back to your day.
  • A gentler result than injectable methods; a course is usually needed.

Who it is for

The method suits skin quality, and anyone for whom injections are unsuitable or unacceptable. If the goal is volume, contour or deep lines, we will tell you at the consultation that this route will not achieve it.

  • Dry, dehydrated, dull skin.
  • Uneven texture and enlarged pores.
  • Fine superficial lines.
  • A fear of needles, or simply not wanting injections.
  • Preparing the skin before an event, when there is no time for recovery.

How it goes

  1. Consultation

The specialist assesses the skin and explains what this particular method can realistically do.

  2. Preparation

The skin is cleansed and prepared.

  3. The treatment 30–40 min

The product is introduced through the surface. Brief tingling or warmth is normal.

  4. Finishing

A calming product and sun protection. The specialist suggests the length of the course.

Results

The skin looks more hydrated and smoother after the first session, but the effect is short-lived if the treatment stays a one-off.

The result accumulates over a course and is gentler than with injectables. That is a deliberate trade: less recovery, less change.

Aftercare

There is practically no downtime, but the skin stays more sensitive for a while.

  • Avoid saunas, pools and hard exercise for a day.
  • No scrubs or acids for a few days.
  • Use SPF — the skin is more sensitive to UV afterwards.
  • Better to leave make-up for a few hours.
  • Keep up hydration at home — it determines how long the result holds.

Contraindications

Some of these are temporary. The specialist decides after assessing the skin.

  • Active infection, cold sores or broken skin in the area.
  • Allergy to the components of the product.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding — some products are not used.
  • Current isotretinoin — the doctor’s interval must be observed.
  • A fresh tan or a recent peel.
  • Rosacea in an acute phase — assessed individually.

Common questions

Is it really needle-free?

Yes. The active ingredient enters through the surface of the skin; there are no injections.

Is the result the same as with injections?

No. The material stays shallow, so the change is gentler. In exchange there is almost no downtime.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually a course. The specialist will suggest the number based on your skin.

Can I have it before an event?

Yes — that is one of the reasons to choose this method. Still better not the same day: the skin can look slightly flushed.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Often yes, but it depends on the product. The specialist will assess how reactive your skin is beforehand.
