Description
10% Vitamin C Self-Activating is a water-free, silicone-based serum: the ascorbic acid is held with no contact with water and activates only on contact with the moisture of the skin. The texture is dry and silky and smooths out quickly on the skin. This 20 ml size is made for travel, or for getting to know the serum. The main active is 10% ascorbic acid (vitamin C), supported by tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (an oil-soluble form of vitamin C), vitamin E, ubiquinone (coenzyme Q10) and squalane. Together they help even out skin tone, reduce the visibility of dark spots and give the skin a glow. Suited to skin with an uneven or dull tone. Vitamin C increases the skin's sensitivity to the sun — daily sun protection is needed while using this serum. It contains bitter orange peel oil and fragrance (limonene, citral), so it may not suit very sensitive skin.
How to use
Use in the morning and/or evening, straight after cleansing — this is the first step of the routine. Apply 2–3 pumps to dry skin on the face and neck. Let it absorb before applying anything else. A brief tingling is possible at first; on sensitive skin, start with a few times a week. Sunscreen is essential in the morning.
