Complexion Renewal Pads

Ready-to-use pads soaked in a solution of salicylic and glycolic acid. One sweep takes off surface oil and loosened cells, so pores stay clearer and the skin's surface feels smoother. Salicylic acid is oil-soluble, which is why it helps clear pores, while glycolic acid works on the skin's surface. Urea and a blend of botanical extracts — green tea, plantain, meadowsweet, amur cork tree — complete the formula. The pads contain denatured alcohol: it helps lift oil, but it can be too much for dry skin. For combination and oily skin that congests easily. If your main concern is shine through the day, look at Oil Control Pads as well — these pads are aimed at renewing the surface of the skin. Start at once a day in the evening and use them more often only on a practitioner's advice: exfoliating too often irritates the skin. Do not use them on the same day as another exfoliating product. Acids make skin more sensitive to the sun, so daily sun protection is needed. Avoid the eye area, the lips and broken skin. The pads are fragranced (limonene, linalool, hexyl cinnamal, alpha-isomethyl ionone) — patch-test on a small area first if you have a fragrance allergy.

Use after cleansing, on dry skin. Sweep one pad evenly over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area and the lips. Do not rinse; let it dry for a few minutes. Start at once a day in the evening; more often only if a practitioner advises it. Follow with a moisturiser, and with sun protection in the morning.
