Description
An evening face cream with 0.25% retinol. This concentration is intended for anyone using retinol for the first time, and for skin that tolerates stronger formulas poorly. It evens out the appearance of tone and texture and reduces the visibility of fine lines. Alongside retinol the formula contains bakuchiol, the vitamin C derivative ascorbyl glucoside, glutathione, soy isoflavones and N-acetyl glucosamine, all working towards a more even appearance of tone. Vitamin E and bisabolol act as antioxidants and soothe the skin. Retinol increases the skin's sensitivity to the sun, so daily broad-spectrum sun protection is essential. In the first weeks skin may become dry, flaky or red, which is why frequency is built up gradually. Retinoids are not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. The formula contains lavender and geranium oils and fragrance — patch-test on a small area if your skin is very sensitive.
How to use
Use in the evening only, on clean, dry skin. Start with twice a week. As the skin adjusts, move to every other evening, then to daily use. Spread a thin layer over the face, avoiding the eye area and the lip contour. Always use sun protection in the morning.
